Profile

Although a fourth generation Bay area resident, Barbara spent her childhood as a ‘Navy brat’. Thus homes have a special significance for her; when her folks decided to settle in Southern California (after Rhode Island, Illinois, Virginia and Puerto Rico), prior to the beginning of high school, she lobbied for the exciting, new architecture of the Eichler home. She has ‘hands-on’ experience building a house in the Santa Cruz mountains, two in Mountain View and one in Cupertino. Thus Barbara has had personal experience as buyer and seller. In addition she is an experienced property manager, both for her own rentals, as well as the family Eichler.

Real estate has become an extension of her residential landscape design business, as the concept of ‘outdoor rooms’ and the integration with indoor spaces is a hallmark of the California life style. Having designed gardens since 1996 in Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Atherton (as seen in Gentry Magazine), Menlo Park, Mountain View, and Cupertino, as well as throughout Santa Cruz County from 1990, she brings the same high-energy enthusiasm and professional service to her clients, providing individual attention, dedication and moral commitment as a fiduciary.
